THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to strengthen the integrity of the public sector, reduce corruption and disrupt criminal activity for the benefit of our community.
The Corporate Services Directorate ensures delivery of high-quality corporate support services to the Commission. This includes the effective and efficient delivery of human resources and work health and safety, financial services, and information management and technology services.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of small IT team, the IT Business and Technical Consultant is responsible for actively liaising with customers to ensure that their technology requirements are met and to provide technical management and support in the delivery of IT systems, networks and corporate applications.
- Manage stakeholder engagement by providing IT support and solutions to the Directorates seeking compliance with processes and policies.
- Analyse and monitor the service delivery by contracted service providers, as well as build customer relationships and liaise with business stakeholders to ensure that projects and deliverables are consistent and align with the strategic direction of the Commission.
- Effectively and efficiently engages with team members, customers, vendors and service providers to implement technology solutions, provide application support, offer technical advice, respond to service requests, and work towards.
- Plans, manages and coordinates administration, upgrade, and/or improvement of computing infrastructure in a hybrid environment including virtualised servers, LAN/WAN, cloud-based systems, security appliances, A/V and telecommunication equipment, and client devices to ensure a reliable and stable computing environment.
- Actively participates in cyber strategic planning, implementation and maintaining current of cyber security solutions.
