Full Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Community/Disability Support Worker to join our friendly and growing team on a casual basis.

Requirements:

Female carer.
Must accept 2-hour shifts.
Every Tuesday from 5pm-7pm.*
If available across weekdays and weekends, potential for other services.

Must Have:

Full Australian driver’s licence and own vehicle.
Comprehensive car insurance.
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.
Working with Children Check (WWCC).

What We’re Looking For:

Must have experience with vision impairment.
Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
Experience with manual handling/hoist, high-care support, and challenging behaviours (highly regarded).
Prior experience as a Disability Support Worker or AIN.
Initiative to support clients in achieving their goals and building community connections.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS clients.
Assist with daily living, personal care, domestic tasks, transport, and community access.
Support clients attending appointments and engaging in social activities.
Plan and accompany clients on outings and activities.
Work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays (on-call flexibility required).
Perform Disability Support Worker and Assistant in Nursing (AIN) duties.
