We are looking for a Sous Chef who is ready to step up, lead from the front, and bring creativity, consistency, and energy to our kitchen.

The Role: Sous Chef (Full Time)

Working alongside our Head Chef, you will play a key role in running a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen where quality, teamwork and innovation go hand in hand.

This is your opportunity to lead a team, influence menus, and grow within a global hotel brand.

What Your Day Will Look Like

No two days are the same, but you will be:

Leading daily kitchen operations and supporting the Head Chef
Ensuring high food quality, consistency, and presentation
Managing stock, ordering, and food cost control
Maintaining strong food safety and HACCP standards
Coaching and developing colleagues
Assisting with rostering and workforce planning (HIGA)
Collaborating with other departments to deliver seamless service
Stepping in wherever needed - because great teams back each other

What You will Bring

3–5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or similar in a high-volume kitchen
Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
Strong leadership and team development skills
Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP, and compliance standards
Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
