ABOUT THE ROLE

The Delivery Driver, and Warehouse Assistant role at Little Italy Coffee Roasters is a versatile position crucial to our daily operations. Reporting directly to Warehouse Manager, you'll be tasked with coordinating delivery services, maintaining warehouse efficiency, supporting the roasting team, and assisting with cafe duties, including making coffee and serving customers.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES & DUTIES

Delivery

Provide timely delivery of wholesale orders, assisting with picking, packing, loading, and unloading vehicles.
Represent the company professionally during deliveries, ensuring excellent customer service.
Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle/s at all times

Warehouse Operations and Cafe Assistance

Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, focusing on continuous improvement.
Coordinate work delegation to meet KPIs and ensure client satisfaction.
Manage stock and deliveries to maintain an organised warehouse.
Operate the forklift and ensure compliance with WH&S standards.
Maintain equipment and vehicle maintenance standards.
Foster a positive work environment, promoting collaboration and adherence to company values.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and cafe spaces.
Serve cafe customers with friendly, high-quality service, including making coffee and fulfilling orders.
Assist with minor technical issues related to cafe equipment and machinery.

Roasting Operations

Support the Head Coffee Roaster to ensure efficient completion of daily roasting operations.
Pack roasted coffee, load silos, and organize roasted coffee.
Have a good understanding of the roasting process to step in as required.
