Commis Chef – Sushi | Japasu By Sang

About Us

Japasu By Sang is looking for a passionate and dedicated Sushi Commis Chef to join our energetic kitchen team. We take pride in delivering exceptional dining experiences and fostering a collaborative, high-standard environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Sushi Chefs with daily food preparation, ingredient setup, and kitchen prep work.
Maintain strict standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
Support smooth service flow during high-volume dining hours.
Work closely with team members to uphold quality, consistency, and presentation standards.

What We Are Looking For

Strong Team Player: Highly values teamwork, effective communication, and a positive attitude.
Passionate & Driven: Eager to learn, grow, and hone skills in authentic sushi prep and Japanese cuisine.
Reliable & Responsible: Strong work ethic with high attention to detail and consistency.
Relevant Experience: Prior kitchen or prep experience in Japanese cuisine/sushi is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential.
