Full Job Description

The Client:
Enteprise technology services company commited to providing the best-in-market software solutions and digital transformations.

The Role:

Design, provision, optimize, and operate resilient database solutions using AWS Aurora Postgres
Database tuning, optimization, and networking expertise
Setup backup, failover, and disaster recovery strategies
Collaborate with application teams to design and create database schemas for new microservices
Participate in agile development, including design, implementation, and deployment

This is a Hybrid working environment : 3 days in office / 2 days WFH

Ideally, you will have:

6+years as a Database Engineer or Database Designer in a financial services environment
Extensive experience implementing highly available database solutions on AWS Postgres Aurora
Knowledge of cloud data security
Full working rights in Australia is required for this role
