The APJ Sales Strategy & Operations team acts as a trusted partner to sales leadership, helping shape regional priorities, optimize field execution, and ensure sustainable business growth. As a Senior Analyst, Sales Strategy and Operations, you will partner closely with regional stakeholders to break down complex business challenges, translate raw data into clear narrative insights, and support key decision-making across the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. In this role, success is driven by structured reasoning, clear communication, and a strong appetite to learn. We value candidates who can unpack ambiguous problems, pinpoint key drivers, and help teams make informed decisions.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to a Director of Sales Strategy and Operations.
Responsibility
Use SQL (e.g., Snowflake) and Salesforce data to build and refine datasets that power reporting to support key initiatives, identifying trends and resolving data quality issues
Break down complex sales, operational, and go-to-market challenges into structured, solvable components
Analyze operating metrics, pipeline, and sales performance data to build clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders
Support key planning initiatives, including territory design, market segmentation, quota setting, and headcount allocation across APJ
Distill complex analytical findings into intuitive presentations and executive updates for cross-functional partners and regional sales leaders
Build collaborative relationships across Sales, Sales Development, Marketing, Finance, and Global Operations to align teams around shared strategic goals
Identify operational bottlenecks, ask thoughtful questions, and explore new ways to streamline processes and reporting for the team

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic
5+ years in sales strategy, consulting, investment banking, or related fields
Hands-on experience working with data (e.g., in Excel/Spreadsheets, financial modeling, or quantitative analysis) to identify trends, draw conclusions, and support decisions
Preferred
Experience with SQL/Snowflake, Salesforce CRM
Proven ability to listen actively, build trusting relationships across cross-functional teams, and work collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
Prior experience in B2B GTM strategy (especially SaaS)
Strong ability to structure messy, complex problems from scratch using logic and structured reasoning
A genuine eagerness to learn new business models, domains, and tools quickly. You are comfortable asking questions when you don't know the answer and exploring new topics independently
Ability to apply deepening functional expertise and upcoming technologies (like AI) to deliver both routine and non-routine work with increasing autonomy
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills and can explain technical or quantitative findings in simple, clear terms tailored to your audience
