We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant to delivery high-level admin support to our Palliative and Supportive Care Education (PaSCE) team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to make an impact in the community, improving care for people with life-limiting illnesses.

Based in Subiaco, this is a full-time fixed-term until 30 June 2027.

What you’ll be doing:

Delivering high-level administrative support to the PaSCE team inclusive of all programs and activities delivered by the team.

Performing financial administrative functions, including managing invoicing, monthly credit card reconciliation, and processing refunds.

Working in collaboration with Marketing and Communications to promote PaSCE programs.

Providing support to the administration of scholarship programs.

Providing administrative support for the PaSCE Manager.

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Representing PaSCE at appropriate meetings, seminars and other events.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Previous experience in office administration

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and think on your feet

Strong self-management and organisational abilities, with attention to detail

Competency in computer software programs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work after hours on occasion

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

Previous experience in health care/community service setting will be well-regarded

Demonstrated understanding of the support and information needs of people affected by cancer and their carers is desirable

Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
