ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is currently welcoming applications for a Digital Engagement Advisor to join our Kwinana team.
This role supports the delivery of engaging digital communications that promote the business, strengthen internal communication, showcase industry participation, and highlight events, community engagement and partnerships. The role creates and coordinates written, visual and digital content across social media, the website, intranet and other digital channels, ensuring communications are clear, timely, audience-focused and aligned with the organisation’s brand and priorities.
This role will suit a creative and organised communications professional who enjoys turning ideas, stories and updates into engaging digital content. You’ll be confident writing for different audiences, comfortable working across channels such as social media, websites and intranet, and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. You’ll be curious, proactive and willing to build relationships across the business to find great stories, capture meaningful content and help strengthen how TLEA communicates with its people, industry partners and the broader community. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, create, edit and publish content for the organisation’s social media channels, website, intranet, digital publications and other communication channels.
Design, publish and update engaging company news, announcements and resources on the Microsoft SharePoint intranet platform to keep employees informed, connected and aligned with business priorities.
Develop digital content that promotes the organisation’s people, operations, industry contribution, events, community partnerships and key business activities.
Design simple, professional and on-brand visual assets for social media, the website, intranet, events and internal communications, primarily using Canva and approved templates.
Translate business priorities, operational updates, industry issues and community engagement activities into clear, accessible and engaging messages.
Support communication for internal and external events, including promotion, content capture, social media coverage and post-event updates.
Create content that showcases community partnerships, partner activities, shared outcomes and the organisation’s contribution to the local community.
Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather information, coordinate approvals and deliver communication activities from concept through to evaluation.
Maintain content calendars, campaign schedules and production workflows to support timely and coordinated delivery.
Monitor digital engagement, social media performance and audience insights, using data to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvements.
Ensure all content reflects consistent messaging, tone, brand standards and inclusive, audience-focused communication.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING
Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, digital media, journalism, public relations or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in digital communications, internal communications, social media, corporate affairs, event communications, community engagement or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written, visual and digital content for internal and external audiences.
Experience using digital, design and publishing tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Canva, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, social media scheduling platforms and analytics dashboards; familiarity with OptiSigns and WordPress would be well regarded.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver communication activities from concept through to evaluation.

LOCATION
TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.
Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
