About the role
As a Casual Qualified Educator, you'll support rooms across the campus, helping children feel safe, settled and engaged throughout the day.
You'll work alongside permanent educators to support routines, play-based experiences, supervision, mealtimes, rest times and transitions. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, builds relationships quickly and can bring calm, positive energy into different rooms.
What you'll do
- Support nursery, toddler and kindergarten rooms as needed, helping children feel safe, settled and engaged.
- Assist with daily routines, meals, rest times, transitions and personal care with consistency and warmth.
- Support play-based learning experiences and safe supervision across different rooms.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and educators, even when working flexibly.
- Step into different room environments with confidence, adaptability and a calm approach.
- Follow campus routines, room leader guidance and OAC policies.
- Uphold child safe practices and inclusive care in every shift.
What you'll bring
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or approved equivalent.
- Experience in early learning preferred.
- Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude.
- Warm communication with children, families and teams.
- Understanding of supervision, routines and child safe practices.
- Ability to adapt quickly across different rooms and age groups.
- Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
