As a Coach at Fitstop Bentleigh, your primary focus is delivering exceptional group training experiences while creating meaningful connections that drive member results, retention, and community growth. Your Responsibilities

Deliver Exceptional Coaching

Lead high-energy, engaging group training sessions.
Coach members safely and effectively, catering to all fitness levels.
Maintain the highest coaching standards while delivering the Fitstop programming as designed.
Prepare each session by setting up equipment and ensuring the training floor is ready before members arrive.
Review programming in advance to ensure confidence and quality delivery.

Create an Outstanding Member Experience

Build genuine relationships with every member.
Motivate, encourage and hold members accountable to their goals.
Welcome new members and ensure they feel supported from day one.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive and energetic training environment.
Drive member retention through consistent engagement and exceptional service.

Grow the Community

Assist with member onboarding and community events.
Support studio campaigns, challenges and promotional periods.
Represent Fitstop Bentleigh within the local community.
Create and contribute engaging social media content that showcases our culture and members.

Maintain Studio Excellence

Ensure the studio is clean, organised and presented to the highest standard.
Take pride in maintaining equipment and training spaces.
Follow all Fitstop operational procedures and standards.
Participate in team meetings and ongoing education sessions.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

Certificate III & IV in Fitness
Current First Aid and CPR Certification
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for coaching and helping others succeed
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual and professional
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Desirable

Previous experience in group fitness or personal training
Sales or customer service experience
Social media content creation experience
Community engagement or event experience
