We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and qualified HVAC Technician to join our workforce and play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stockland’s national portfolio, supporting Stockland's Merrylands Town Centre.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Servicing, maintenance, and repairs on air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems across shopping centre
- Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs to ensure minimal disruption
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain system efficiency and reliability
- Install and commission split systems, ducted air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as required
- Monitor and maintain indoor air quality and temperature control to support resident wellbeing
- Ensure all work complies with Australian standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements (including refrigerant handling)
What You’ll Bring
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (RHL) ( ARCtick Licence )
- Electrical Work Licence (Restricted or Full)
- Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience across split, ducted, and commercial HVAC systems
- Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Background working in commercial, with ideally with shopping centre experience
- Experience with installation and commissioning of HVAC systems (desirable)
- Prepared to undertake necessary pre-employment checks including National Police Check and health declaration
