Join Deloitte's Cloud Engineering team and help clients design, build and modernise AWS environments that solve complex technology challenges and create lasting business value.

What will your typical day look like?

You'll lead the design and delivery of AWS solutions across cloud-native builds, modern integration work, and migration programs. That could mean shaping distributed architectures aligned to the AWS Well-Architected Framework, guiding engineers through implementation, or helping clients move workloads from VMware or Hyper-V environments into scalable cloud platforms.

Working closely with client stakeholders, programme teams and cross-functional specialists, you'll turn technical requirements into practical delivery plans and high-quality outcomes. Your advice will help teams make smart decisions on security, networking, automation, resilience and performance across complex multi-cloud and multi-vendor environments.

No two engagements will look exactly the same. Some days will centre on stakeholder workshops and architecture decisions, while others will focus on hands-on engineering across Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, serverless services, containers or observability tooling like CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

The team works across architecture, engineering, automation and transformation, using leading cloud platforms and modern delivery approaches to solve complex business problems. It's a collaborative, high-performing group that cares deeply about quality, continuous learning and building solutions that are practical, secure and future-ready.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:
Experience leading the design and delivery of secure AWS architectures aligned to the AWS Well-Architected Framework

Strong hands-on capability across AWS engineering, workload migration, and cloud-native delivery

Experience working across complex stakeholder environments, including developers, platform teams, cyber, leadership and client decision-makers

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Python or Bash

Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, security controls, and AWS networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, transit gateways and VPC peering

Experience with serverless, event-driven and container-based architectures using services like Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, ECS or EKS

Confidence presenting technical solutions to clients, producing clear documentation, and leading engineering teams through delivery

AWS certifications, hybrid infrastructure experience, or exposure to AI-enabled delivery would be a bonus
