As MRI continues to expand across enterprise real estate markets, we are seeking a Value Engineer to partner with Sales and Sales Engineering teams to quantify, articulate and prove business value within strategic enterprise software opportunities.
This role is focused on helping executive stakeholders understand the measurable operational, financial and strategic outcomes that MRI solutions can deliver. The Value Engineer will support complex, high-value deals by developing ROI models, business cases, benchmarking insights and executive-level value narratives that accelerate decision-making and increase deal size, competitive differentiation and win rates.
The Value Engineering function plays a critical role across MRI’s enterprise sales motions by helping prospects connect technology investment decisions to tangible business outcomes including operational efficiency, portfolio performance, risk reduction, tenant experience and revenue optimization.

Partner with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to develop tailored value propositions for strategic enterprise opportunities.

Build compelling ROI, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and business value assessments aligned to customer priorities and investment objectives.

Engage with executive stakeholders including CIOs, CFOs, COOs, Heads of Property, Asset Managers and Operations leaders to quantify business impact.

Translate complex product capabilities into measurable commercial outcomes relevant to the real estate industry.

Participate directly in high-impact enterprise pursuits to strengthen MRI’s competitive positioning and support deal progression.

Assist sales teams in identifying value drivers, operational pain points and transformation opportunities within customer environments.

Develop executive presentations, value hypotheses and business justification materials to support procurement and investment approval processes.

Support strategic account planning and expansion opportunities by identifying additional value realization use cases across the MRI platform.

Design, maintain and enhance scalable ROI and value engineering frameworks across MRI solution areas including property management, investment management, facilities management, leasing and tenant engagement.

Develop reusable industry benchmarks, calculators and assessment tools that can be leveraged across global sales teams.

Collaborate with Product, Customer Success and Marketing teams to incorporate customer outcomes, benchmarks and market trends into value models.

Enable Account Executives and Sales Engineers to confidently communicate MRI’s differentiated business value during customer engagements.

Deliver training programs, workshops and guidance on value-based selling methodologies and ROI positioning.

Create scalable tools, templates and messaging assets that support value conversations throughout the sales cycle.

Analyze customer success metrics, industry trends and operational benchmarks to strengthen MRI’s value narrative.

Develop case studies and outcome-focused success stories with measurable business results.

Partner with Product Marketing and Leadership teams to support thought leadership initiatives around digital transformation in real estate technology.

Experience in Value Engineering, Management Consulting, Strategic Pre-Sales, Business Value Consulting or Enterprise Solution Consulting.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build financial models and quantify business outcomes.

Experience supporting complex enterprise SaaS or technology sales cycles.

Ability to engage credibly with senior executives and economic buyers.

Strong analytical, presentation and storytelling skills.

Experience collaborating across Sales, Sales Engineering, Product Marketing and Customer Success teams.

Ability to simplify complex operational and technical concepts into clear business value narratives.

Familiarity with real estate technology, property operations, investment management or enterprise software environments is highly desirable.

SaaS, PropTech or enterprise platform experience.

Exposure to commercial real estate, residential property management, investment management or workplace technology.

Experience developing ROI/TCO models and executive business cases.

Consulting background from firms focused on digital transformation, operational improvement or technology strategy is advantageous.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and scale MRI’s value engineering capability across strategic enterprise markets globally. You will work closely with Sales, Sales Engineering and executive leadership to influence some of MRI’s most significant customer engagements while helping define how value-based selling is executed across the organization.
