Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8, ($113,574 - $125,720) + super + leave loading.
Your role
The Application Developer contributes to the development of software, web applications, and multi-media applications that facilitates the achievement of business outcomes and improves business efficiencies and processes through leveraging technology.
What you’ll do
Prepare specialised code as required by the product definition to enable application development.
Contribute technical expertise to requirements analysis to enhance the quality of the solution design.
Complete testing and gather feedback to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of the developed application.
Undertake post-release activities to develop a base of knowledge to be incorporated in future build and release cycles.
Triage issues and provide 2nd and 3rd level application support performing complex incident restoration and initiate problem management processes to identify root cause of service failures. Implement remedies and/or preventative measures to resolve service issues and maximise service availability.
Develop, review and maintain documentation to assist others in restoring services and reduce the impact of unplanned outages.
Ensure relevant application development documentation and information is updated/referenced in the Asset and/or Configuration Item (CI) records, ensuring currency is maintained and accurate in agreed Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Monitor service delivery performance metrics and liaise with stakeholders and customers to ensure that service level agreements are not breached.
What you’ll bring to the role

A collaborative team member who enjoys brainstorming, has strong communication skills and is disciplined and organised.
Demonstrated experience in contemporary analytics tools.
Demonstrated experience in web app programming.
