Digital Canberra is seeking a experienced Project Resource Fulfilment Manager to manage the day to day coordination of ICT technical and project management resources across project delivery activities. This role ensures workloads are sustainable, transparent, and aligned with agreed priorities. This is achieved through the ongoing monitoring and reporting of project work, including financial costing and analysis of project activities. The Manager works closely with stakeholders to agree on priorities and assign project tasks to technical teams throughout the end-to-end project lifecycle.
The role collaborates with Subject Matter Expert (SME) team leads and Strategic Business Project and Program Managers/Project Managers and works closely with technical and Operations teams to ensure priorities are aligned across both project and Business-as-Usual (BAU) work. The role also provides resource fulfilment forecasts based on major program and project resource requests, ensuring forward visibility of demand and capacity. In addition, the Manager is responsible for onboarding and training Project Managers to follow established processes for resource forecasting and planning. Under broad direction, this role leads capacity management and project support services, ensuring the successful delivery of complex, strategic initiatives aligned to organisational priorities. With hybrid working arrangements based in Gungahlin and flexibility to work from customer sites or home, this position offers a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture that values respect, integrity, and innovation.
We’re looking for a proactive leader with strong project delivery and quality assurance expertise in areas such as COTS implementation, ICT infrastructure, software development, or business improvement. Eligibility/Other requirements: Tertiary level qualifications and/or certification in Project Management and Program Management are highly desirable. These include one or more of: Diploma of Project Management, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, Agile Project Management (AgilePM) Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster, Management of Successful Programmes (MSP) Foundation.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
This position is based at a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
As part of the ACTPS, this role has access to a range of flexible working provisions including hybrid work arrangement primarily based in the Gungahlin office (Winyu House), customer sites, and/or home. The occupant of the role is expected to work in the Gungahlin office a minimum of 2 days per week. ACTPS staff also have access to a range of FlexiSpace office locations across Canberra.
