Assistant Manager - Crossroads Hotel

At Crossroads Hotel, we’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager who lives and breathes food & beverage—someone who can lead from the floor, elevate service standards, and drive sensational dining and beverage experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume venue.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large Sydney based hotel group which encourages career growth opportunities. Crossroads Hotel is part of the Sonnel Hospitality Group which owns and operates 19 venues throughout Sydney. Whilst we have been established in the hotel industry for more than 30 years, we are always looking to increase our hotel portfolio, thus ensuring on-going career development and promotion, for those employees that display positive intent, respect and a willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage daily operations across bar, gaming, and TAB sections, ensuring all areas are running smoothly.
Supervise and support staff, providing guidance to uphold exceptional customer service standards.
Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures, including cash control and compliance.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Flexibility to work across varying shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Rotating rosters offer an opportunity to develop expertise in all aspects of hotel management.
Preferred food & beverage experience in a supervisor role.

The successful applicant will:

Essential requirements for this position are Current RSA, RCG & ARCG Competency Cards
Be a motivational leader who encourages and develops the team to ensure an exceptional customer experience each time.
Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years of management experience in a similar role with a strong knowledge of managing day-to-day operations of a venue with strong and complex trade
Hands on approach in your leadership and management
A friendly, outgoing personality with excellent people skills
A passion for the hospitality industry with the desire to progress within the company

This role requires completion of a National Police Check as part of our Employee Due Diligence process.
