Our teams have the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders, auditors, and professionals with vast experience within our industry, while enjoying regular social events and collaborative work that bring the team together. We are seeking an Associate Environmental Scientist who is willing to relocate to sunny Queensland to join our Contaminated Land and Water team within our Brisbane office. Have the opportunity to work alongside more than 45 land and water professionals across Australia who are actively invested in mentoring, collaboration and your long-term career development.

Relocation assistance is available for the successful candidate.

This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

Successfully project managing projects that are delivered on time and on budget
Playing a key role in overseeing and conducting detailed site inspections
Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients
Completing technical reviews of complex reports
Providing advice regarding environmental legislation and guidelines
Mentoring and developing juniors

Your Expertise and Skills

These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.

Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Environmental Science/ Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Management or related field
9+ years experience within contaminated land and water in an environmental consultancy
Some understanding of QLD and national environmental frameworks
Industry certification (CEnvP or CPSS) or keen interest to pursue this
