Job Description

About the Project

Lumsden Point is a major infrastructure development designed to enhance port capacity and connectivity in Western Australia. The project involves complex structural works, requiring innovative solutions and a strong focus on safety and sustainability. ACCIONA is proud to deliver this transformative project that supports regional growth and global trade.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Site Engineer with a background in general civil construction and a strong interest or experience in pavements, concrete works, and stabilised pavement construction.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the workface, thrives in a fast-paced site environment, and is eager to build their technical and project delivery capabilities while contributing to high-quality infrastructure outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

Support delivery of works on site to ensure safety, quality, and program targets are met
Coordinate daily site activities, including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors
Assist with short-term planning (3–6 week lookahead) and monitor progress, risks, and productivity
Review drawings and specifications, raise RFIs, and support construction methodologies
Contribute to safety, environmental, and quality compliance across site activities
Assist with procurement, cost tracking, and maintaining accurate site records
Participate in site meetings and drive continuous improvement across processes and performance

Required Skills and Competencies

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
~2+ years’ experience in civil construction (earthworks, roads, drainage, or pavements)
Ability to read drawings and support planning/programming activities
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities on site
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams and subcontractors
Basic commercial awareness and commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards
