The Role
We are seeking motivated Sonography Trainees to join our growing team.
This role is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled in, or intending to enrol in, an accredited postgraduate sonography qualification and are seeking a high-quality clinical training environment.
Working alongside experienced sonographers and radiologists, you will progressively develop your scanning skills while participating in a varied and interesting caseload.
Areas of training include:
- General ultrasound
- Musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Superficial parts ultrasound
- Vascular ultrasound
- Obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound
- Paediatric ultrasound
- Guided interventional procedures
Responsibilities Include
- Assisting with and progressively performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations under supervision
- Preparing patients and explaining examination procedures
- Developing scanning techniques and image acquisition skills
- Working collaboratively with sonographers, radiologists, and clinical staff
- Participating in protocol optimisation and workflow improvement initiatives
- Supporting structured reporting initiatives and AI/ML imaging data frameworks
- Maintaining high standards of patient care and professionalism
- Contributing to a positive learning and team environment
