Your Role

Are you a relationship-driven fundraiser passionate about securing transformational support? Join Vinnies NSW as our next Manager, Major Gifts and help shape the future of giving across NSW. In this strategic leadership role, you’ll build meaningful relationships with high-net-worth individuals, philanthropic supporters and private foundations to secure significant funding that creates lasting community impact. Working closely with senior leaders across the organisation, you’ll drive donor engagement, grow philanthropic partnerships and deliver high-impact fundraising outcomes.

Your Responsibility

Lead the implementation of the Major Gifts Strategy aligned to organisational priorities and fundraising goals
Grow major gift revenue and multi-year pledges through strategic donor engagement and stewardship
Build and manage a strong major donor pipeline from identification through to solicitation and ongoing stewardship
Develop tailored engagement strategies to strengthen relationships with high-value supporters and private ancillary funds
Deliver against ambitious fundraising targets, KPIs and major giving objectives
Conduct prospect research and identify new philanthropic opportunities and supporters
Create compelling donor-centric proposals, presentations and cases for support
Plan and deliver meaningful donor engagement opportunities including events, briefings and site visits
Use donor insights, reporting and data analysis to inform strategy and improve donor engagement
Lead and support the Major Gifts Coordinator to deliver high-quality fundraising outcomes

You Will Need

Bring proven experience in major gifts fundraising and securing high-value philanthropic support
Be confident managing strategic donor relationships and leading high-value asks
Have exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Thrive working collaboratively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Demonstrate strong project leadership and organisational skills
Be highly strategic, proactive and relationship-focused
Have experience working with donor databases, reporting and fundraising insights
Be passionate about community impact, social justice and creating meaningful change through philanthropy
