Parramatta CBD office location, with flexible working arrangements available. Please note regular attendance at the Parramatta office is required
Salary ranges from $84,659 to $92,701 p.a. plus super & annual leave loading

About the role
As the Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering professional, efficient and confidential support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the Director’s office.

Key responsibilities include:

Diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements
Managing and maintaining accurate and well-organised records and document management systems, including electronic filing systems, shared workspaces and corporate records management systems
Drafting and managing professional correspondence and emails, including quality assuring documents and communications prepared by others
Liaising with stakeholders and responding to routine enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Assisting with purchase orders, invoices, and payments
Supporting recruitment activities and onboarding processes for new team members

About you

You are a proactive and approachable professional with a calm, solutions-focused approach to your work. You will also have:

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records, manage information and keep tasks and processes up to date
Enjoy creating order, maintaining efficient systems and ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
The ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining professionalism, responsiveness and attention to detail
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build positive stakeholders relationships
Experience using TRIM or other records management systems, or a willingness to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience providing executive or administrative support is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
