Terror Twilight Catering is entering an exciting new chapter — and we’re looking for a strong, creative and organised Head Catering Chef to lead the next phase of growth.

Part of the Yolk Group family, Terror Twilight Catering delivers fresh, café-quality catering across Melbourne — from breakfast boxes and vibrant salads to workplace lunches, private events and large-scale functions. As demand continues to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on leader who can drive standards, build culture and help shape the future of the business.

About the Role

This is a leadership position for someone who thrives on organisation, consistency and great food. You’ll oversee day-to-day catering operations, manage production and systems, lead and develop the kitchen team, and work closely with the wider Yolk Group leadership team to continue building a high-performing catering division.

We’re looking for someone calm under pressure, commercially minded, passionate about people, and excited by the opportunity to grow with a fast-moving hospitality group.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all kitchen operations and catering production
Manage prep, ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
Maintain high food quality, consistency and presentation standards
Build, mentor and develop a strong kitchen team
Improve systems, workflows and operational efficiency
Ensure food safety and kitchen compliance standards are upheld
Coordinate catering logistics and event preparation

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or Catering Chef in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management ability
Calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
Passion for quality produce, hospitality and team culture
Experience in catering or high-volume production kitchens highly regarded
