Amazon Connect Engineer

We are looking for a strong self sufficent Amazon Connect Engineer, possibly from a software or a cloud background who is looking to further their expertise in contact center technolgies, in particular Amazon Connect.
You should have some level of prior experience configuring and implamneitng Amazon Connect solutions where you worked as a senior individual contributer or lead as samll team of junior developers.

What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of Amazon Connect-based solutions, focusing on the creation of intuitive, human-centric conversational interfaces. Leveraging your expertise in conversational AI and design, you will drive measurable impact by improving customer satisfaction, reducing operational costs, and optimising client processes.

Deloitte Engineering Practice helps clients realise the potential of transformational capabilities to solve their most challenging issues. We improve their agility and resilience and identify opportunities to optimise their technology usage. We also accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, by implementing vendor solutions as well as Deloitte-developed software solutions and tools.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

Proven experience in conversational design, particularly in creating voice and chatbot solutions.
Hands on expereince desining or configuring Amazon Connect solutions.
Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP), AI-driven automation, and customer experience strategies.
Exceptional client-facing skills, with experience in managing stakeholder relationships and delivering workshops.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and client expectations are met.
Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams in a consulting environment.
Client Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and providing guidance on how to implement Amazon Connect solutions.
Technical Business Analysis: Lead client workshops, gather business requirements and align with customer experience goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with technical, development, and operational teams to ensure the successful integration of Amazon Connect solutions
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
