Role Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician to play a key role in a high-impact program within our Red Ochre Autonomy and Sensors team, based on site at our facility in Nowra, NSW. We support our customer by maintaining the Air Traffic Control and navigational systems used by Airforce to control Australia's military aerospace.
Core Duties:
- Carry out routine and reactive maintenance on ATC navigation and comms systems
- Use Defence maintenance systems to log and manage tasks
- Respond to operational needs and controller staff
- Work independently to diagnose faults, certify maintenance, and support system integration.
- Complete OEM training (including travel) to support system readiness
- Comply with internal reporting requirements
About you:
- Certificate III/IV in Electronics or relevant discipline
- Demonstrated relevant technical industry experience
- Proven experience with complex electronic systems
- Previous experience with radar and/or air traffic control systems
- Ability to work in a highly regulated, defence-aligned environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance and ITAR (Mandatory)
