The above salary is as per WA Health System Medical Practitioners AMA Industrial Agreement 2024 (inclusive of base salary, PD allowance and 12% superannuation). Rates effective as of 3 Sept 2025. This is subject to the assessment of qualifications, clinical skills and years of practice.

As a Consultant Paediatrician join our dedicated team and lead paediatric services across, outpatient, and community settings with a focus on child development. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team comprised of various Allied Health Professionals to support regional families across the Wheatbelt region. The Successful Candidates Will:
- Be eligible for or hold registration by the Medical Board of Australia in the specialty of Paediatrics and child health.
- Have substantial clinical experience in paediatric patient management with a strong focus on developmental paediatrics and child protection.
- Demonstrated effective, compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and external agencies, combined with strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
About the Pool and Appointment
This is an active recruitment pool which will be assessed on a regular basis by the panel to fill both immediate vacant positions and future vacancies. Please note that after filling the current vacancies, all suitable applicants will be placed in the pool for future appointments. Appointments may be made from this pool until 20/12/2026.
