About the job
We are looking to connect with experienced Sales, Account Management, Business Development, and Go-To-Market professionals based in Australia who are open to a performance-based collaboration opportunity.
This is not a full-time employment role and does not include a fixed salary. This role is for commercially minded professionals with industry connections, B2B sales experience, and a drive to earn uncapped commission by introducing and selling a workforce management SaaS product in Australia.
About the Product
We are representing a Workforce Management System (WMS) for construction and site-based businesses that need better control over workforce operations, site compliance, attendance, inductions, SWMS, timesheets, subcontractors, reporting, and operational visibility.
The platform is particularly relevant for businesses in:
- Construction
- Civil works
- Formwork and concreting
- Labour hire
- Workforce management
- Field-based operations
- Compliance-driven industries
Many businesses in this space are still relying on spreadsheets, paper forms, WhatsApp messages, and manual timesheets. WMS helps consolidate these processes into a single system, improving visibility, reducing admin workload, and supporting better compliance management across projects and sites.
Opportunity Overview
We're looking for a Business Development Manager / GTM Strategist to identify, approach, and engage potential clients or channel partners for WMS.
This role is suited to someone who understands how to open conversations with decision-makers, build trust, identify business pain points, and create commercial opportunities.
This is a performance-based role with uncapped commission, suitable for professionals who want flexibility and strong earning potential without the structure of a traditional full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach relevant businesses in construction, workforce management, labour hire, and site-based industries
- Build relationships with owners, directors, operations managers, project managers, construction managers, HR/payroll teams, and compliance leaders
- Position WMS as a solution for workforce visibility, compliance, attendance, timesheets, and operational control
- Generate qualified leads, meetings, demos, and sales opportunities
- Support early-stage sales conversations and help open doors with potential clients
- Provide market feedback and assist with go-to-market positioning
- Collaborate with the internal team for demos, proposals, and client onboarding
- Explore reseller, referral, or strategic partner opportunities where relevant
Ideal Candidate
The ideal person will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Business development
- B2B sales
- Account management
- Channel partnerships
- SaaS sales
- Construction industry sales
- Workforce management solutions
- Labour hire or field service industries
- Compliance, WHS, HR, or payroll-related solutions
You do not need to be a technical expert, but you should be confident speaking with business owners and decision-makers about operational challenges, inefficiencies, compliance pressure, and business improvement.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who
- Is based in Australia
- Has a strong professional network or ability to build one
- Understands the construction or workforce management space
- Can confidently start conversations with decision-makers
- Is commercially driven and motivated by performance-based rewards
- Can work independently without needing daily supervision
- Is comfortable with a commission-based opportunity
- Wants to be part of a growing SaaS product with strong market potential
Compensation
This is a performance-based opportunity with uncapped commission potential.
There is no fixed salary or full-time employment arrangement. We can discuss the commercial structure based on experience, network, level of involvement, and ability to contribute to lead generation, sales conversations, partnerships, and closed deals.
Potential engagement models may include:
- Referral commission
- Sales commission
- Reseller arrangement
- Strategic partnership model
- Monthly recurring revenue share for suitable partners
Why This Opportunity
This is a strong opportunity for someone with experience in the Australian construction or workforce management market who wants to monetise their network, sales ability, and industry knowledge.
WMS addresses real operational problems, including:
- Manual timesheets and payroll preparation
- Lack of real-time site attendance visibility
- Paper-based inductions and SWMS processes
- Subcontractor and workforce compliance gaps
- Disconnected reporting across projects and sites
If you are connected with construction companies, civil contractors, labour hire providers, or site-based businesses, this could be a valuable opportunity to explore.

We are happy to share more details about the product, commission structure, partner model, and go-to-market opportunity during an initial conversation.
