Key Responsibilities

Provide support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication assistance
Deliver high-quality care to clients with complex needs and behavioural support requirements
Support clients to achieve their personal goals and actively participate in community and social activities
Implement and follow individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies
Promote independence, dignity, and respect in all interactions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and incident reports
Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment at all times

What We’re Looking For

Experience in disability support, particularly with complex care and behavioural support (preferred)
Cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in relation to New Zealand (Kiwi) communities (highly regarded)
A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of behaviour support practices and person-centred care
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support) – desirable
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
