Rope Access Sydney NSW Pty Ltd is an established painting and decorating company specializing in residential, commercial and renovation projects throughout Randwick, NSW 2031. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Painter (Trades Worker) to join our growing team on a full-time basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching and applying primers and sealers
- Applying paints, varnishes and protective finishes to walls, ceilings and structures
- Mixing paints and matching colours to client specifications
- Using brushes, rollers and spray-painting equipment
- Erecting and dismantling ladders and scaffolding safely
- Reading and interpreting work orders and project specifications
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality trade standard
- Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety procedures
- Cleaning and maintaining painting tools and equipment
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant trade qualification in painting and decorating or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time experience
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials and surface preparation
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- White Card (preferred)
- Driver licence (preferred)
