Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Project Manager with over 10 years of experience who can lead the end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and integration of SAP systems (such as S/4HANA) by coordinating teams, managing budgets, and aligning technical delivery with business goals. This role is based in Sydney, Australia, and requires excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all phases of SAP projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Apply SAP-specific methodologies like SAP Activate, including agile framework implementation for sprint cycles.

Communicate with sponsors, manage stakeholder expectations, and oversee external vendors and contracts.

Guide cross-functional, technical teams and consultants.

Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to keep projects on track.

Manage project budgets, monitor spending, and provide regular status reports to executive leadership.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.

10+ years of experience in implementing SAP Projects, with at least 3 years in SAP S/4HANA projects.

Strong understanding of SAP modules including Finance, Logistics, and Procurement.

Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-influencing skills

Certification:

SAP Certified Associate – SAP Activate PM.
