Full Job Description

FULL TIME - Monday - Friday

About the role:

Marden Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. This position has become available after 9years due retirement. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills and customer service experience to join a friendly, supportive, and dedicated team.

Key requirements:

Best Practice software experience is essential and required for this role
Ability to prioritise and multitask
Good organisation and communication skills
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to keep calm and work in a very busy environment
Willingness to take initiative in challenging situations
A positive and enthusiastic attitude that will exceed expectations
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to develop and maintain a strong rapport with practitioners and patients
maintain confidentiality and practice policies

Scope of work, but not limited to:

Appointment bookings
Answering telephones
Patient Billing, Receipting & lodgment to Medicare
Scanning documents
Emails
Filing & archiving
Banking reconciliation
Assist in general clerical / administration tasks, as required

Essential selection criteria include:

Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or in similar administrative roles is required
Proficient computer skills with prior experience using medical billing/appointment software

Full Australian working rights essential

Current Working with Children check

Pay: $27.00 – $30.00 per hour
