Location
Aegis Shoreline is a new, premium Residential Aged Care home located in North Coogee, near Port Coogee Marina.
Developed with an innovative, modern design providing a resort lifestyle in a state-of-the-art, safe and comfortable environment, Aegis Shoreline’s residents will receive quality care and enjoy a host of well-appointed amenities including:

Available rooms consist of single rooms, with their own private ensuite, as well as a limited number of shared rooms, ideal for couples or those seeking companionship, all excellently appointed with nurse call service as standard.
For residents with Dementia, Aegis Shoreline offers a Memory Support Wing with a specifically designed care environment.
Aegis Shoreline is in truly a unique location, adjacent to the beach and overlooking picturesque Cockburn Sound.
It provides a beautiful panorama of Garden, Carnac and Rottnest Islands with many bedrooms, lounges and sitting areas having ocean views where the sunset can be enjoyed, every day.
Located in the rapidly developing Shoreline Estate in the suburb of North Coogee, just south of Fremantle City, Aegis Shoreline is readily accessible from Cockburn Road and offers easy access to the Fremantle Region and all nearby services.
About You
You should be an empathetic person who possesses the following qualities:
- A commitment and genuine passion for Aged Care.
- An ability to inspire trust and proactively lead, coach, develop and mentor both unregulated care workers, care, and lifestyle staff.
Within this role you will be a champion of high quality, safe and effective nursing that aligns with the resident preference and best practice by:
- Undertaking clinical, social and self-care assessments.
- Anticipate Residents changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals.
- Support Residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.
You will be responsible for compliance:
- Ensuring all care documentations are completed with the appropriate strategies implemented.
- Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting.
Your role within the team would involve:
- Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers.
- Providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team.
We need you to possess the following accreditation, skills and working rights:
- A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in aged care.
- A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
- Full Australian working rights and be able to pass a national police clearance.
