Summary
Lead large-scale digital transformation programs for Australian enterprise clients across business, technology, operating model, and process domains.
Focus on cost take-out initiatives where the emphasis has been on optimisation across multiple levers to provide tangible cost savings
Provide strategic leadership across business architecture, transformation delivery, organisational change, and technology enablement initiatives.
Act as the senior client advisor and trusted transformation partner to executive stakeholders including CIO, COO, CFO, and business leadership teams.
Drive alignment between business strategy, enterprise capabilities, operating model, process transformation, data, and technology investment.
Lead multidisciplinary consulting and delivery teams ranging from 10 to 50+ personnel across multiple workstreams and vendors.
Ensure transformation outcomes deliver measurable business value, operational improvement, customer experience uplift, and organisational readiness.
Oversee program governance, commercial management, delivery assurance, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation programs from strategy through execution and business adoption.
- Lead a team of cross-functional consultants to identify, design and implement cost takeout initiatives.
- Define and maintain target operating models, business capability maps, transformation roadmaps, and business architecture artefacts.
- Establish transformation governance structures, delivery frameworks, and executive steering processes.
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships across business and technology functions.
- Lead and mentor consulting, architecture, project delivery, and business transformation teams.
- Drive alignment between business priorities, technology initiatives, and organisational change programs.
- Facilitate executive workshops, strategic planning sessions, and business transformation assessments.
- Provide oversight across program delivery including scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and quality outcomes.
- Ensure integration between business process transformation, enterprise applications, data, AI, automation, and operating model initiatives.
- Manage external vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators within complex enterprise environments.
- Support organisational change management activities including business readiness, communications, and adoption planning.
- Develop executive-level presentations, transformation business cases, and board-level reporting materials.
- Identify transformation risks, delivery issues, and remediation strategies across large and complex programs.
Required Skills and Experience
- 15+ years’ experience in transformation, enterprise consulting, business architecture, or large-scale program delivery.
- Proven experience as both a practitioner and leader of programs with a core focus on cost takeout.
- Proven experience leading large transformation programs within Australian enterprise organisations.
- Demonstrated leadership of consultancy or delivery teams ranging from 10 to 50+ personnel.
- Strong background in business architecture, enterprise operating model transformation, and strategic business alignment.
- Experience engaging with C-level executives and senior business stakeholders in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven experience delivering transformation initiatives across multiple domains including process, technology, data, customer, and organisational change.
- Strong understanding of enterprise delivery governance, transformation methodologies, and program assurance practices.
- Experience working within large Australian industries such as utilities, government, transport, logistics, financial services, telecommunications, or healthcare.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-vendor environments and complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Strong commercial acumen including program budgeting, consulting engagement management, and business case development.
- Experience leading strategic workshops, transformation assessments, and executive decision-making forums.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and business transformation frameworks such as TOGAF, Business Capability Modelling, Operating Model Design, Lean, Agile, or SAFe.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
