Reporting to the Network Operations Manager, you will provide senior technical leadership across enterprise and data centre networking. You’ll lead complex changes, support critical incidents, and contribute to design, implementation, and operational governance.
You will work across network, compute, and storage domains, partnering with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and clinical technology teams to ensure end-to-end service reliability.

Lead delivery of data centre network modernisation initiatives

Execute complex network changes, upgrades, and lifecycle activities

Provide technical leadership and design input across network platforms
-
Support incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration
-
Contribute to architecture, standards, and change governance
-
Collaborate with vendors, MSPs, and internal teams
-
Maintain high availability, performance, and security across network services
-
Support ITIL-aligned service management processes
You are a hands-on senior engineer with deep expertise across modern data centre networking and strong adjacent infrastructure knowledge.
You bring:
-
5+ years’ experience in enterprise/data centre network engineering
-
Strong hands-on experience with:
-
Cisco ACI, VXLAN, and Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC)
-
Enterprise networking across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi
-
Solid capability across:
-
Routing & switching (BGP, OSPF)
-
Firewalls, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, IPAM
-
Experience working with VMware environments (vSphere, NSX exposure advantageous)
-
Understanding of storage platforms and how they integrate with network infrastructure
-
Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform or similar)
-
Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools (PRTG, NetFlow, ThousandEyes, Cisco DNA)
-
Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis capability
-
Ability to operate in complex, multi-site, high-availability environments
Desirable:

Exposure to Zero Trust / NAC (ISE)

Cloud networking (Azure/AWS)
-
Certifications (CCNP/CCIE, ITIL)

Work on enterprise-scale transformation programs

Contribute to systems that directly support clinical care and patient outcomes

Access to modern technologies across network, cloud, and infrastructure

Sydney-based | Minimum 3 days onsite
