Redcape Hospitality is looking for a full-time Chef to join the kitchen team at Parklands Tavern in Meridan Plains on the Sunshine Coast.

This role suits a reliable kitchen professional who enjoys fast-paced pub service, can work confidently across grill, pans or fryers, and takes pride in delivering consistent food every service.

You’ll work as part of a well-established kitchen team where communication, timing and teamwork matter.

About the role

As Chef, you’ll support day-to-day kitchen operations across prep, service and food delivery in a busy pub kitchen.

What you’ll be doing

Prepare and cook meals across grill, pans or fryers during service
Support consistent, high-quality food delivery in a busy kitchen
Work with the Head Chef and kitchen team during peak trade
Keep your section clean, organised and ready for service
Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
Communicate clearly with the team to keep service running smoothly

What we’re looking for

Demonstrated experience as a Chef, Cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen, ideally within pub or bistro dining
Confidence working grill, pans or fryers during busy service
Availability to work nights, weekends and rotating shifts
Reliable transport to and from the venue
Good communication and a team-first approach
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Kitchen Management is highly regarded
