About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a mid-level Systems Analyst to join our firm on a full-time basis. As part of the team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the firm to analyse business needs, provide data-driven recommendations, and implement system and reporting solutions to enhance operational efficiency and ensure that the firm continues to provide exceptional service to its clients.
Your day-to-day activities will be varied, however you can expect some of your responsibilities to include:
- Provide day-to-day administration, support and troubleshooting for the Firm’s Matter Management systems, primarily Aderant CASE and associated integrations
- Act as the primary point of contact for Aderant Case requests and issue resolution
- Assist with system upgrades, maintenance and release planning, including vendor coordination and UAT
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements for projects, process improvements and client reporting.
- Collaborating with stakeholders including Partners and other Lawyers to understand the data sets required and their purpose.
- Working together with other teams to provide information and bespoke solutions for complex legal reports.
- Design and creation of data capture screens and work with internal and external resources to deliver the required solutions.
- Perform data analysis, cleansing and validation to support accurate decision-making
- Write and optimise SQL queries
- Extracting insights from large datasets to make data-driven recommendations, presenting data in reports, pivot tables and visualisations, and assisting with the identification and correction of invalid data.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to optimise data management processes and operational effectiveness.

There will be an initial requirement for this role to be on-site for training purposes, however the ongoing requirement to be in the office is flexible.
About you
Some of the key skills and attributes we are looking for in a successful candidate include:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting legal or professional services systems
- Hands-on experience with Aderant or Legal Practice Management systems would be advantageous
- Experience producing reports and responding to ad-hoc analytical requests
- Proven ability to work independently on complex issues while collaborating effectively with others
- Experience with SQL , SSRS , Power BI or Workflow applications.
- Professional services or law firm environment experience a must.
- Calm, methodical problem solver with strong analytical judgement
- Clear and practical communicator, able to adapt for technical and non-technical audiences
Well organised, able to manage competing priorities without constant escalation in a deadline-driven environment
