Purpose
This is a full-stack engineering role, encompassing both backend and frontend development.
As part of our Engineering team, you will work across APIs, communication systems (HTTP and message queues), microservices, monitoring and observability, refactoring existing code, developing and enhancing user interfaces, troubleshooting production issues, and delivering new product features.
You will also contribute to HammerTech Intelligence, our AI-powered suite of capabilities designed to help customers work smarter, uncover insights, and streamline complex construction workflows. This is an opportunity to work on practical, product-led AI solutions that deliver meaningful customer value while helping shape how AI is applied across both our platform and engineering practices.
You will champion the effective adoption of AI-assisted and agentic development tools, such as Cursor, Claude, and similar platforms, across the software development lifecycle. Leveraging these tools to improve development velocity, code quality, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting, you will help engineering teams focus on higher-value design, architecture, and problem-solving.
Working closely with cross-functional teams and fellow engineers, you will deliver complex product initiatives in an agile environment, embrace DevOps practices, and support the growth of team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing where appropriate.
