Contracts Administrator – Secure Projects | Canberra

We’re looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our Secure team, supporting new build and fit‑out projects. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful, technically interesting projects within a stable, well‑established Canberra builder - where professionalism, accountability and respect genuinely matter.

About the role

As a Contracts Administrator with Manteena Security, you’ll play a key role in the commercial and administrative backbone of our projects. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you’ll help ensure contracts are managed properly, risks are identified early, and projects are set up for success.

Your role will include:

Managing subcontractor packages, scopes, purchase orders and contract documentation
Supporting cost control, progress claims, variations and financial reporting
Preparing and managing RFIs, correspondence and contractual records
Monitoring contractual risk, scope changes and project compliance
Assisting with procurement, tender comparisons and commercial analysis
Working collaboratively with site teams, consultants and subcontractors

This is a hands‑on role where accuracy, judgement and communication really matter.

About you

You’re a capable Contracts Administrator who enjoys being part of a delivery‑focused team and understands what good looks like on well‑run projects.

You’ll bring:

3–5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator in commercial construction
Experience on new build or fit‑out projects valued up to $10M
Strong understanding of contract administration and cost management
Confidence working with Project Managers and delivery teams
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach

Security requirements (essential):

Australian Citizen
Able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (or already hold one)
