Carina OSHC is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Coordinator / Educational Leader to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large, thriving service licensed for 225 children, supporting high-quality outcomes for children, families, and educators.

Working alongside and supported by two Coordinators, you will help lead our Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs, fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

Support the leadership and daily operations of our Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs.
Drive educational excellence by mentoring educators and guiding the planning and implementation of engaging, play-based programs aligned with children's interests and developmental needs.
Work collaboratively with the Coordinators to lead, support, and inspire a large team of educators.
Foster positive and respectful relationships with children, families, school staff, and the wider community.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, reflective practice, and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and quality standards, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all children.
Contribute to service planning, administration, and operational requirements as part of the leadership team.

Requirements of the Role:

Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
Previous childcare service management experience.
Child Protection training is required for this role.
Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
