Due to continued growth of our business, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Cash Operations Officer to join our collaborative Finance team. You will be reporting to the Cash Operations Team Leader and will have responsibility for a broad range of cash and contract applications, direct debit and payment processing, invoicing, and reconciliation functions.
Responsibilities
- Processing of daily direct debit files, cash application, allocation and reconciliation of customer loan and lease receipts.
- Processing of contract terminations and contract and dealer maintenance
- Processing of daily dealer payments and loan and lease origination funding.
- Assistance with month-end closing and GL reconciliations.
- Support the Team Leader Cash Operations in driving continuous process improvement activities.
- Participate in transformation initiatives across Cash Operations.
- Collaborate with other relevant teams and project leaders across the business to suggest, develop and drive improvement to systems, processes, and staff development.
Your background
- Knowledge of Financial Services, with an Accounting degree completed/ partially completed.
- Experience in data processing/ payments and or cash application and management would be beneficial.
- Strong and empathic customer focused approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions.
- Strong organisation and interpersonal skills.
