We're looking for an experienced
Production Coordinator to join Seed Heritage, playing a key role in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle from development through to delivery for our Home category. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you'll ensure product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and aligns with seasonal critical paths.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll manage production schedules, oversee supplier communication, track key milestones, and support the smooth delivery of Home product across both production and marketing requirements.
THE ROLE:
- Manage end-to-end production critical paths, ensuring all milestones and delivery deadlines are met
- Develop and maintain production schedules across short and long lead-time orders
- Track orders, shipments, and freight handovers, ensuring on-time delivery through to warehouse
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal shipping teams to manage consolidation and logistics
- Maintain accurate system updates in D365 including costs, key dates, and delivery changes
- Create and issue purchase orders accurately and within required timelines
- Ensure supplier compliance, testing requirements, and certification standards are met and recorded
- Coordinate packaging development lifecycle with suppliers and internal design teams
- Manage marketing and campaign sample ordering to support seasonal shoot requirements
- Maintain strong daily communication with suppliers to proactively manage delays, risks, and production issues
- On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Tertiary qualification in Product Development, Fashion Design, or related field
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a production or QA coordination role
- Strong offshore production experience is essential
- Experience working with textiles and hardgoods preferred
- Strong understanding of production critical paths and supplier management
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel essential) and experience with systems such as D365
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Highly organised with strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
