We are looking for a talented Electrical Field Service Technician to join our Power Generation Team in Perth.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Apply documented procedures and policies to complete diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenance on power generation equipment in field-based environments, including preparing required parts and tools.

Perform on-site disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of power generation systems.

Assist with completing required documentation, such as work completed reports, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms via handwritten forms or business system input screens.

Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.

Maintain tools, service vehicles, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and proper operation.

Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation while working on customer sites, and report any issues/incidents to their supervisor.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Effective communication and accountability when working autonomously in the field.

Strong problem-solving ability with nimble learning and planning skills.

Commitment to health and safety in dynamic site environments.

Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and electronic service tools.

Knowledge of power generation systems, electrical fault finding, and product repair.

Experience in service documentation, customer interaction, and technical escalation.

Recognise the value of diverse perspectives.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Engine systems interaction — Analyzes mechanical and electrical system interactions using tools, measurements, and service publications.
Power generation systems knowledge — Applies safety standards and technical understanding to diagnose and repair power generation systems.
Product repair & maintenance — Performs quality mechanical/electrical repairs, follows guidelines, manages parts, and restores equipment to pre‑failure condition.
Service documentation — Accurately records customer, equipment, and technical data in service systems.

A grade electrical License required
