The Role:
As a Solutions Developer, you will play a pivotal role in enabling General’s innovation strategy by bridging business needs with technology solutions. This role focuses on analysing requirements, designing integration workflows, and ensuring seamless connectivity across enterprise systems. Working closely with stakeholders and solution architects, you will ensure that system investments deliver measurable business value, enhance process efficiency, and strengthen customer experience.
We are looking for a full stack developer who's able to take eCommerce requirements through from beginning to completion. We require expertise around architecture, design and technical governance of various strategic projects and information system investments.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited:
- Requirements Analysis: Engage with business units to capture, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
- System Integration Design: Define integration specifications across ERP, CRM, and other enterprise platforms (Epicor, SugarCRM, SQL Server, BizTalk).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Translate technical concepts into business language, ensuring clarity and alignment across departments.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for workflow digitisation, automation, and optimisation.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure integration solutions adhere to security, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Testing & Validation: Lead UAT, coordinate integration testing, and validate data flows for accuracy and reliability.
- Documentation & Training: Produce clear documentation, support materials, and deliver training to end-users.
You will work towards achieving the companies' corporate goals, objectives and role out system implementation excellence.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a relevant enterprise developer and/or consulting position
- Previous experience with C# and .NET framework related programming development using Microsoft Visual Studio
- Previous experience with CMS platform like Sitefinity
- Proficient in Google Analytics and SEO
- Experienced with Agile development in CI/CD environment
- JSON, JavaScript and HTML5 development experience
- B2B Business experience
Desirable but not essential experience in...
- Webstore platform experience like MIYA, Magento and BigCommerce
- Familiarity with integration solutions like BizTalk, Jitterbit
- Development experience object-oriented PHP programming
- B2B ecommerce experience
