CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager, Community & Day Programs to lead a diverse portfolio of disability services in Waitara and Pymble.

This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape innovative, person-centred programs while driving operational excellence, compliance, and sustainable growth across community and day-based services.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee a suite of programs including:

Day Services (Waitara)
Community-based programs
Afternoon, Saturday & Vacation Care Programs
Boonah Art Studio (Pymble)

You will directly lead two Team Leaders, an Administration Officer and an Art Facilitator, while overseeing a broader team of Disability Support Workers.

This role plays a critical part in:

Designing and evolving services aligned with participant needs
Strengthening operational and financial performance
Ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards
Leading a high-performing, engaged workforce

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, families, and support coordinators
Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of programs and services
Drive workforce planning, rostering and recruitment aligned with service and budget requirements
Ensure NDIS compliance, safeguarding, risk management and quality standards
Monitor and improve financial performance and service viability
Lead, coach and supervise direct reports and foster a positive team culture
Identify opportunities for service expansion and new business growth
Oversee incident management, reporting, audits and operational systems (e.g. Carelink)
Champion a strong safety, wellbeing and safeguarding culture

About You

You are a confident, values-driven leader with demonstrated ability with a minimum of 3 years' experience in similar role. Strong commercial acumen and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes for people with disability.

You bring:

Proven leadership experience in disability or community services
Strong understanding of NDIS funding, compliance and operational requirements
Demonstrated experience in program design, service delivery and continuous improvement
Excellent people leadership skills with a track record of building engaged teams
Strong financial and operational management capability
Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach

Essential Requirements

Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience
Current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
Current First Aid & CPR certification
Working With Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check
