We are excited to introduce a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Solicitor with Comcare experience to join our Sydney CBD office and play a key role in establishing and growing a new practice area within the firm.
This is a rare opportunity for a career-minded lawyer to take ownership of a developing practice, work closely with senior leadership, and help shape the future direction of Commonwealth workers’ compensation claims within Law Partners.
The Opportunity
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a solicitor who has experience running Comcare / Commonwealth workers’ compensation matters and is eager to help develop and expand this area of practice.
You will work closely with senior leadership while building a strong client base and practice presence within the firm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of Comcare matters from commencement through to resolution
- Providing strategic legal advice to clients navigating Commonwealth workers’ compensation claims
- Drafting legal correspondence, submissions and court documentation
- Liaising with counsel, medical experts and relevant stakeholders
- Contributing to the development and growth of the Comcare practice
- Building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service
About You:
- Experience managing Comcare / Commonwealth workers’ compensation matters
- Strong litigation and file management skills
- A client-focused approach with excellent communication abilities
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing a practice area
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team
