The focus of your role as a Physiotherapist will be to:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's physical, functional, and developmental needs
- Developing and implementing customised treatment plans to address the specific goals and requirements of each child
- Providing hands-on physiotherapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, motor skill development, and assistive device recommendations
- Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to each child's care
- Documenting all client interactions and maintaining detailed records to support continuity of care
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices in paediatric physiotherapy
The clinician we are seeking must be:
- Committed to excellence in service delivery with a strong focus on client experience and outcomes.
- Flexible to meet the needs of clients and their families, working with them in their own natural settings (e.g. home, school, childcare centre, etc.).
- At ease working both independently and collaboratively - based from home, working with colleagues, stakeholders and clients in community.
- Excited to contribute to an innovative new service delivery model.
- Open to expanding your clinical practice to new areas, with support.
- Comfortable using technology and online tools for reporting, communication and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with children, families, and other healthcare providers
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt treatment plans based on each child's unique needs
- Proficient in the use of electronic record-keeping systems
- Experienced with assistive technology and report writing for third party providers (i.e. NDIS)
Essential requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor or Masters degree in Physiotherapy
- Current membership (or eligibility for membership) for Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A current open driver’s licence and access to a registered, roadworthy vehicle with either third party or comprehensive insurance cover.
- Appropriate certification, or ability to gain (blue card, yellow card) for provision of Disability Services and/or services to children and young people.

Bambini Allied Health offers an innovative approach to providing high quality therapeutic services on the Sunshine Coast. We liaise directly with a whole range of allied health services and are able to provide joint visits with some services where applicable. Bambini Allied Health provides a service delivery model with the client central to the planning and delivery of services. Bambini Allied Health provides services to private, Medicare CDM and NDIS plan and self-managed clients and provides therapeutic services to those with disabilities, children and the ageing.
