About You:

About the Role:

Join the Emergency Department at Lyell McEwin Hospital as a Part-time Administrative Officer on a short-term contract until 5 February 2027. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support critical healthcare services in Adelaide's northern suburbs while gaining valuable experience in one of South Australia's busiest emergency departments.

What You'll Do

Provide essential administrative support to emergency department clinical staff
Manage patient records and documentation systems
Coordinate appointments and maintain accurate databases
Assist with reception duties and patient enquiries
Support departmental operations during peak demand periods

What We're Looking For

Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience with medical terminology and healthcare systems preferred
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in computer systems and database management

The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.
