This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne , operating in a flexible hybrid model. In this position, you will act as a key business orchestrator, driving new logo acquisition and helping tier-1 financial institutions modernize their legacy tech stacks, optimize operations, and deliver secure digital customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities (What You Will Lead)
As a Senior Account Executive, you will take total ownership of the enterprise sales cycle from initial discovery through to strategic close, leveraging ecosystem partnerships to maximize market impact.
BFSI Market Expansion: Uncover, qualify, and secure high-value new logo opportunities across the Australian banking, financial services, and insurance landscape.
C-Suite Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain trust-based, long-term relationships with Tier-1 and Tier-2 C-level executives (CIOs, CTOs, Chief Risk Officers, and Heads of Digital) across both business and IT units.
Ecosystem & Partner Co-Selling: Partner extensively with Global and Local Systems Integrators (GSIs/SIs), Advisory firms, and Alliance partners to build a collaborative "sell-with" and "sell-through" pipeline.
Value-Driven Software Sales: Effectively articulate the OutSystems value proposition to non-technical business stakeholders. Leverage rigorous ROI (Return on Investment) and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) frameworks to align platform capabilities with corporate financial goals.
End-to-End Deal Architecture: Lead complex enterprise sales processes that deeply validate technical, security, and regulatory requirements, culminating in successful contract negotiations and deal closures.
Territory Strategy & Execution: Formulate and execute a comprehensive annual and quarterly regional sales plan, ensuring consistent quota achievement and proactive pipeline health.
Account Optimization: Identify and nurture strategic cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize customer lifetime value.
Qualifications (What You Need to Succeed)
We are looking for a highly autonomous, collaborative sales professional with deep domain expertise in cloud software and an established network in the Australian financial sector.
Enterprise Sales Track Record: 10+ years of successful direct enterprise software selling experience, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding quotas in the Australian corporate market.
Domain Specialization: 3+ years of specialized experience selling Application Development platforms, Low-Code/No-Code systems, SaaS, PaaS, or enterprise Cloud architectures.
BFSI Industry Acumen: Deep understanding of the specific business drivers, competitive pressures, security standards, and regulatory environments (e.g., APRA guidelines) governing the Australian financial sector.
Partner Collaboration: Demonstrated success co-selling alongside tier-1 consulting firms, local boutique integrators, and channel partners.
Sophisticated Communication: Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and problem-solving skills. The ability to navigate highly complex, multi-stakeholder consensus cycles with clarity and transparency.
Autonomy & Drive: Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently while fostering a strong "one-team" culture with internal pre-sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
