About the Role
As Principal Project Officer, Healing Partnerships you will join Aboriginal Affairs NSW within the Truth & Healing branch, working as part of the Healing Partnerships team. This role plays a key part in progressing Healing and Unfinished Business priorities in partnership with Aboriginal communities, government agencies, and the non-government and private sectors.
You will work across government and alongside Stolen Generations Organisations, survivors and communities to monitor and track progress against the 35 recommendations under the NSW Government’s Unfinished Business commitment and support the preparation of related parliamentary reporting.The role also includes providing secretariat support to the Stolen Generations Advisory Committee, a Cabinet committee that guides the implementation of Unfinished Business priorities.In addition, you will manage grants and contracts associated with Healing funding provided to Stolen Generations Organisations.The position encompasses project management, coordination, stakeholder engagement, program delivery, and monitoring and reporting on outcomes.
