NAGS is the largest and leading auto glass wholesaler across Australia and the South Pacific region who has been supplying automotive glass for 27 years. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Fulltime Storeman/Driver, working out of our distribution centre in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.
Role Overview
Based in Acacia Ridge and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role operates Monday to Friday and involves completing both morning and afternoon customer deliveries. Delivery routes service customers in and around Brisbane and the Gold Coast metro areas, with longer runs servicing Grafton, Warwick, and Dalby twice weekly.
The successful candidate will work 7.6 hour days between the hours of 6am – 4.30pm. Overtime is required during peak demand periods. Drivers must hold a current C Class driver’s licence with a clean driving record. The role is responsible for safely delivering stock to customers, accurately completing, and returning all delivery documentation, and handling returned stock where required.
In addition to delivery duties, the role will support walk-in customers and assist within the warehouse as needed.
This position suits a reliable team player who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and consistently deliver high standards of customer service.
Key Accountabilities
Safety

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Travel within the speed limit.

Perform prestart checks.

Identify and report hazards promptly to the Manager or Supervisor
Delivery
-
Load, transport, and unload customer deliveries in line with scheduled runs

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or customer pickup, including confirming quantities

Maintain delivery docket books and ensure delivery runs are completed on time
-
Accurately complete all delivery dockets and paperwork and return as required

Process returned stock, including repacking and relabelling where necessary
Storeman Duties

Using handheld scanners pick, pack, and prepare orders for customer pickup, delivery, or courier dispatch

Replenish, rotate, and correctly put away stock

Safely dispose of damaged or broken glass in accordance with procedures

Assist with periodic and full stocktakes

Break down, cut, and dispose of used cartons and crates safely
Qualifications and Skills
-
Knowledge of the automotive industry highly regarded

Previous experience in a warehouse environment and/or as a courier or delivery driver

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service

Proven time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Physically capable of lifting up to 20kg and using trolleys safely

Current C Class driver’s licence with a clean driving record
